J., June 4.— George Brown, Jr., of Maryland, has been appointed stew- _ f 1 ard representing the New Jersey Racing "j Commission during the coming 50-day J| meeting at Garden State Park. Brown succeeds the late Thomas J. Healey, for r whom he substituted during the greater I" part of the 1944 meeting. Another Mary- lander who will serve in the stewards pa- goda at Garden State is William L. Harron. 1. Both Brown and Harron are now active at ,t Delaware Park. The third man in the e stand here will be Erwin J. Brown, of Cali- fornia.
