Jamaica Meet Sets Records NEW YORK, N. Y., June 4.— New attendance and pari-mutuel betting records for New York were established during the 12-day meeting of the Metropolitan Jockey Club at Jamaica which closed last Saturday. The total attendance was 409,990, a daily average of 34,166. The total wagering amounted to 0,077,968, an average of ,506,497 daily. The breakage amounted to 37,122.05. The previous high mutuel mark was set at the Belmont Park spring meeting last year, when the daily average pool was ,406,706.
