PRECISION awa well but takoa in hand when outrun, started up slowly when entering the stretch, continued resolutely when straightened up and won drawing clear. CALEXICO began to improve his position on the turn, made a game try in the drive and outstayed SWEEPNACK. The latter closed ground gradually to the last sixteenth where he tired. GAY and LIGHT showed a good effort from a slow beginning. RED SPIRIT had speed and was in hand to the stretch turn but gave way when called upon. EPAWAY began poorlv.
