McLennan has called the attention of horsemen to Fridays closing of Suffolk Downs six most important stakes, the 0,000 Massachusetts, the 5,000 Yankee and Mayflower Stakes, and the 0,000 added Betsy Ross Stakes, Miles Standish Stakes and Hannah Dustin Handicap. All nominations for this rich sextet must be in the hands of the secretary or in the mails by midnight Friday. McLennan is well pleased with the early response to the stakes schedule and expects some of the keen renewals will be seen during the New England season.
