Son of War Breaks Down ARCADIA. Calif.. June 12. — The veteran distance runner, Son of War, will not be able to start again for some time. He broke down during the running of the eighth race Friday. Son of War for several years raced in the silks of Anita King and was acquired by Mr. and Mrs. William Nien-dorf a few months ago.
