Mrs. J. H. Louchheims Sir Toro. a creditable sixth in last Saturdays Kent Stakes, shapes up as the probable favorite in tha race, although there is enough contention to indicate that the price will not be prohibitive. Brandywine Stables Aethelred, O. 3. Moores Belpast, Christiana Stables Brides Biscuit, W. F. Hitts Milkstone, Rock Hill Farms War Strategy and H. L. Donovans Quatre Call are the others named in the feature. Just before his appearance in the Kent, Sir Toro was a winner here, but the rivals he meets in the Amstel have been knocking at the door in recent engagements and should provide an interesting contest. Word from New York that Maine Chance Farms Beaugay, winner of the Fashion Stakes recently, was on her way here increased interest in Thursdays Polly Drummond Stakes, five-furlongs feature for juvenile fillies. This miss, costing 2,000 afe last years yearling sales, is by Stimulus, out of Risk. She will be opposed in the Drummond by a 1,000 yearling purchase, the Cedar Farms Mamanie, a daughter of Mahmoud and Manie OHara. Others expected to go in the filly stakes are Bobanet Stables Ariel Song; C. H. Boehmer and A. C. Dumestres Paper Cup; Brandywine Stables Ararat; A. C. Ernsts Aladear; Mrs. Edwin S. Hinemans Foxier and possibly W. H. LaBoyteaux Transfer.
