. I j Illinois Notes LINCOLN FIELDS fat Hawthorne, Stickney, 111., June 12. Jess Trent has departed for Louisville with the horses Colonel Read, Tetramor and Glenwood Boy. Jockey Jess Higley will ride Mrs. Clyde Troutts Take Wing and apprentice Billy Nichols will be aboard Hyman Friedbergs Bolos Choice in the La Salle Handicap Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. John M. Hutchins. owners of a stable of horses at Hawthorne, have gone to Lexington to look over some yearlings at Henry Knights farm. W. T. Beezley is leaving for Detroit with the horses Rusty Gold, Milk Flip and Might Step. Jockey Steve Brooks is leaving Thursday for Detroit. Dixiana has first call on his services and W. H. Bishop has second call. The horses F. M. Thompson brought here from Louisville for Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Sopsic were Country Butter, Nellie Weed and Mali Johnie. Monte Weil has received two horses from Dallas, Texas, for Ed Haughton. They are Uncle Byron and Jen Jen. Sgt. James Shaddix, former owner and trainer, is now stationed in France, according to word received here by George Swain. Jockey Harry Hart is leaving for Detroit where he will ride free lance. R. W. Boyens has taken over the training of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Hosiers Rogers Boy and the Shady Knoll Farms Fiery Justice. P. G. Johnson formerly trained them. Jockey Hugh Lemmons has gone to Detroit where he will ride for Ed McCuan. Al Bordeau received an unnamed two-J year-old Tuesday morning from Lexington. | The juvenile is owned by E. G. Ogden of Natchez, Miss.
