Begin o Stall Allotments AllotmentsFor Allotmentso For Narragansett Meet MeetExpect Expect 103 Horses From Downs Following Close There May 15 15PAWTUCKET PAWTUCKET R I May 5 With the return of Judge James E Dooley from Ken ¬ tucky the board of directors of Narragan ¬ sett Park today went into executive session and completed all plans for the opening of the Rhode Island track on June 7 The meeting runs 30 days until July 10 10Of Of the 2600 horses for which stabling accommodations have been requested the names of 875 were approved and stall cards wiT be mailed to their respective owners arid trainers From Kentucky Judge Dooley brought back the names of 103 horses these have been granted stalls and will be shipped in directly following on the close of Churchill Downs on May 15 New ¬ comers to New England included in the cbntingent are C A Cope with 14 head Seeley Kilpatrick with 5OMrs Frank Le tellier with 8 trained by C S Fassbender Morris Clifford with 12 trained by Richard T Watts W H Sharp with 7 Sam An ¬ drews with 5 and H Louden with 4 head headReturning Returning to New England for the first time this season will be 24 horses trained by Keene Daingerfield of whom the sharp sprinter George Gains is the star Louis K Haggin with nine whose ownership is di ¬ vided between Haggin E K Thomas and Duval Headley and 15 head trained by Otis Clelland and owned by Fred Wyse and A Abercrombie AbercrombieStabling Stabling is being reserved for approx ¬ imately 200 head which racing secretary Ty Shea has arranged toship from New Jersey following the close of the Garden State meeting May 31 Thus with 1173 stalls already accounted for the summer Narragansett meeting will be adequately supplied with welltrained horses who measure up fully to the best standards of the past The grounds will be opened to receiye horses on May 15 The Ganftett stakes six in number and totaling 80000 in added money will close Tuesday mid ¬ night June 1
