Lincoln Fields Will Have Horse Colony of 1700 J JWASHINGTON WASHINGTON PARK Homewood 111 May 13 Dee Sumpter member of the Lin ¬ coln Fields organization who is supervising the allotment of stalls both here and at the Lincoln Fields Crete track says approxi ¬ mately 1700 horses will be accommodated during the local meeting which opens here i Monday There are 1472 stalls available at this course and 350 have been placed in good condition at Lincoln Fields bringing the total to 1822 However space for tack feed and living quarters will demand more than 100 stalls says Sumpter SumpterSumpter Sumpter also announced that a new track kitchen is now in operation for the benefit of horsemen quartered at Lincoln Fields He says there are electric lights in every stall and abundant running water through ¬ out the stabling area
