New Jersey Notes GARDEN STATE PARK Camden N J May 14 14Trainer Trainer Bill Zimmerman last week shipped three horses to Woodbine Park at Toronto Canada from Garden State Park They were Signals Bloke Rocket Shell and White Ford Yuriimy Allen was an arrival from Baltimore and will make the riding en ¬ gagements for jockey Elwood Polk through the New Jersey racing season Allen also will serve as stable agent for the stable trained by Otto Rasch Sr SrFifteen Fifteen horses currently campaigning at Garden State Park for Walter P Chrysleiv Jr will be shipped to Belmont Park over the weekend Fifteen additional head will be moved into the Camderi course from Maryland on Monday Full sisters finished first and third in Tuesdays fourth race an event which was restricted to New Jersey foals No Leddie was the victress Uedlon finished third They are daughters of Neddie and Lonmeg The Philadelphiaowned Jaclyn Stable will van a dozen horses currently quartered at Garden State Park to Belmont Park on Friday The remaining half dozen in the stable will continue to campaign at Gar ¬ den State Park The extensive racing string which flies the silks of the Glen Riddle Farm is being split into two divisions One division will be shipped into Belmont Park later this week while the other section will continue to campaign at Garden State Park Hal Price Headleys homebred Lorit a sopohomore daughter of Menowgives every indication of developing into a high grade performer Loriot yesterday sped to her sec ¬ ond triumph in as many starts at Garden State Park scoring in the good time of 111 for six furlongs Incidentally the score made it a double lor the day of owner Headley and trainer W S Cotton their previous victor having been Bogle another daughter of Menow who accounted for the featured Breakfast Club Purse A recent addition to the jockey colony at Garden State Park is George McLeod a 28yearold veteran rider from Adrian Mich who has put in most of his tune in the middle west He is associated with the stable owned By Miss Helen Higdon and will be seen astride Warsick xin Saturdays running of the Raricocas Stakes McLeod rides at 110 pounds Mrs Royce Layton wife of jockey J R Layton has arrived from Miami with their infant daughter Jammie Louise Layton currently riding at Garden State Park will put in the summer on the Jersey circuit and his family will remain with him during the season Jockey Harrison B Wilson will leave for PJmlicoitomorrojsu where he will ride Mrs Moody Jolley s Picnic Lunch in the PJmlicQ
