Adjourn New York Labor Hearing Until Monday MondayNEW NEW YORK N Y May 21 A phase of the hearings before the New York State Labor Relations Board at its New York office on charges of unfair labor practices preferred against 186 owners and trainers was completed today when adjournment was taken until Monday The horsemen were cit6d for failure to treat with Local 814 of the Teamsters Chauffeurs Ware ¬ housemen and Helpers Union AFL ac ¬ credited bargaining agent for the grooms and exercise riders at New York tracks The respondents contend that they are en ¬ gaged in interstate commerce and conse ¬ quently are not subject to rulings of the state board boardVoluminous Voluminous testimony oral and docu ¬ mentary has been presented in evidence by Arthur C Pettit of the law firm of Winthrop Stimson Putnam Roberts attorney for Mr and Mrs F Ambrose Clark and trainers F T Bellhouse and J D Byers It is expected that the hearings which are being held before Trial Exam ¬ iner Robert J Lawler will be completed next week Murray I Lasker la the attor ¬ ney for the board
