National Guard to Handle Crowd at Oak Brook Chase ChaseTraining Training in emergency handling of crowds will be given a detachment of 60 MPs from the Military Police Company of the 33rd Infantry Division Illinois Na ¬ tional Guard June 5 They will handle an anticipated 20000 at the inaugural running of the Oak Brook Challenge Cup Steeple ¬ chase at the new race course near Hinsdale HinsdaleThe The military policemen who are volun ¬ teering their services will engage in duties cjbsely approximating wartime activities of traffic control and control of the circu ¬ lation of individuals said Capt Jack B Krebs acting provost marshal for the 33rd Infantry Division who will be in command of the two 30man platoons platoonsThe The detachment will use four cruising jeeps with twoway radios and a command post jeep stationed at the judges stand to keep traffic moving and clear the way if necessary for two ambulances which will be at the race meeting the only steeple ¬ chase to be held in Chicago this year
