Delaware Park Track Will Be Dark Today TodayCoaltown Coaltown Among Likely Entrants In 25000 Kent on WeekEnd WeekEndDELAWARE DELAWARE PARK Stanton Del June 5 There will be a temporary lull in pro ¬ ceedings at Delaware Park on Monday the association observing the first of two dark Mondays during its current 30day meeting Racing will resume at the Stan ton course on Tuesday afternoon afternoonThe The one mile and a sixteenth Kent Stakes one of the associations principal fixtures for threeyearolds is the only outstanding feature on the agenda for the week But this 25000 prize slated to be run next Saturday will be preceded by a number of worthwhile overnight features during the fiveday racing span spanIt It is still a bit too early to accurately gauge the probable Kent field but since a large percentage of the 90 eligibles are stabled on the grounds racing secretary J Gil Haus expects to encounter little dif ¬ ficulty in mustering a good field for the weekend feature featureMost Most illustrious of the Kent eligibles is Calumet Farms Coaltown who was nomi ¬ nated for the race along with Beau Dandy and Whirl Blast This trio is currently campaigning in the New York area but there is a strong possibility that Coaltown will be transferred to Delaware Park for his Kent engagement engagementAmong Among the nominees who have been training for the Kent over the local course are Mrs E H Augustus Seven League Mrs Van Lear Blacks Golden Reigh Ella K Brysons Equibity Chris ¬ tiana Stables Pango Pango Alan T Clarkes Fritz Maisel Foxcatcher Farms Manyunk Hal Price Headleys Acme and Pennon High Ground Stables Brown Fox and Hefty Walter M Jeffords French town Sylvester W Labrots Bovard Lazy F Ranchs Deep Water Crispin Oglebays Gates Mills Mr and Mrs P A Rothfuss Gain A Foot Mrs James V Stewarts Dr Almac C V Whitneys Quarter Pole and Henry L Straus Gallant Jake
