Michigan Notes FAIR GROUNDS Detroit Mich June 11 11Trainer Trainer Arthur Brent of the R S Mc Laughlin Stable augmented his string with the addition of the fouryearold Roman colt Imperator who came from McLaugh lins Parkwood Farm at Oshawa Ontario Trainer A Bennie reduced the large string that he has in training here for Arthur J Halliwell of Toronto when he shipped Snappy Verse David B Jr Vesu ¬ vius Sables Yawl and Loneadie to Long Branch near Toronto The main division will remain at the Fair Grounds here Apprentice Dave Holstein arrived from New England and plans to affiliate with a stable racing here Holstein was graduated from the Detroit Jockey School last year yearJesse Jesse Trent departed by motor for his farm in Prospect Ky to inspect his stock On the farm Trent has three yearlings four sucklings and eight broodmares He will return for racing here the first of the week Racing commissioner Lewis L Bredin departed for California on a business trip He is expected to fly back early next week
