Three Arlington Stakes Close for Entries Today TodayHorsemen Horsemen throughout the nation were reminded yesterday by officials of the Arlington Park Jockey Club of the closing today June 12 of the three stakes that will feature the opening weeks sport at the North Side track The three fixtures whose deadlines are at hand are the 20 000 Hyde Park Stakes at five and onehalf furlongs for twoyearolds the feature of the inaugural program on June 21 the 25000 Princess Doreen for threeyearold fillies at six furlongs programmed Wednes ¬ day June 23 and the 30000 Equi ¬ poise Mile for threeyearolds and upward which will headline the first weekend program on Saturday day June 26 26One One week from Saturday June 19 five other stakes will close for nomi ¬ nations these being the 20000 Primer Stakes for juveniles the 20000 Skokie for threeyearolds the 25000 Modesty Stakes for fillies and mares three years old and up ¬ ward the 50000 Stars and Stripes and the 20000 Domino the latter two both being for threeyearolds and upward
