Massachusetts Fair Dates DatesBOSTON BOSTON Mass June 11 The tentative dates for this years thoroughbred racing at the fairs to be conducted in Massachu ¬ setts have been allocated by the local com ¬ mission Marshfield will open the circuit which is confined to four sixday stands this year on August 23 and run through August 28 Following a weeks layoff the sport will be resumed on September 6 at Northampton running to September 11 Great Harrington will hold its session from September 13 to September 18 inclusive then the final meeting will be conducted at Brockton Weymouth has not applied for dates at this time and it is reported the management of the South Shore fair is in favor of night harness racing
