When the field moved out of the gate Jetrose and Alsabs Day were most alert but within at sixteenth of a mile Seely from her outside post position moved into com mand then cut over sharply to the rail It was feared for a second or two that she would pile up her rivals but none seemed affected Seely who had never before been out of the money proceeded to widen out while Alsabs Day dropped back and Jetrose was the only one to put up a fight fightThis This order changed abruptly however when the field straightened away for the stretch drive Seely tired badly and Jet rose moved to the fore with Admired right at her heels Miss Sal K in the meantime was beginning to find her stride She had lagged badly down the backstretch and around the turn and in one sharp burst forged to the lead With his sixth con ¬ secutive triumph thus establishing a strong claim as being the best thoroughbred bred in Illinois in recent years yearsFeatherston Featherston Astride Hypostyla HypostylaHarold Harold Featherston was astride the threeyearold and after a short brush for position out of the gate the result was never in doubt Hypostyle opened a couple of lengths before reaching the first turn and
