Harris Nylon Riding Pants in Demand DemandNARRAGANSETT NARRAGANSETT PARK Pawtucket R I June 12 Frank Harris enterprising valet in the Narragansett Park jockey quar ¬ ters has perfected nylon riding pants after a year of research The pants are already in use at the Rhode Island track only four being manufactured to date the demand far exceeding the supply at the present time Blue in color to hide the mud stains the pants have no buttons or ties the elastic leggings and waist making it possible to slip out of the pants without digging mud from lacings and buttons The pants are half the weight of ordinary mud pants making them a boon for heavy riders They have been strenuously tested and are found to launder perfectly Harris estimated that they will outwear ordinary pants three to one A full production schedule is in effect and before long the local demand will be met
