Winner of Young-Fusari Go May Get Title Fight Maulers KO Records Assure IBC of 0,000 Garden Gate NEW YORK, N. Y.. May 11 UP.— Middleweight Paddy Young and welterweight Charley Fusari were quoted at "even money" today for their 10-round test of punching explosives at Madison Square Garden Friday night. Young, of New York, and Fusari of Irvington, N. J., will bring boxing back to the Garden after a lapse of six weeks during which a circus occupied the punch emporium. Officials of the International Boxing Club have been over-zealous in publicizing this scrap. Even today they still insisted that the winner might get a shot at Jake LaMottas middleweight crown. Nevertheless, it shapes up as an interesting bout. Young has contracted to weigh no more than 154 pounds. Welterweight Fusari expected to be fattened up to about 152. Young, 21, is a left-hook specialist who has belted out 19 of 43 opponents. Fusari, 24, has a stunning straight right. Blond Charley has knocked out 37 of 69 opponents. He licked middleweight Jimmy Flood at the Garden March 10. A crowd of 10,000 and a gate of 0,000 is expected.
