No Strike of Mutuel Clerks at Golden Gate SANTA ANITA PARK, Arcadia, Calif., May 11.— Newell Soule, head of the Mutuel Clerks Guild, in a telephone conversation today, told a representative of this newspaper there would be no strike of mutuel clerks at Golden Gate Fields. Soule said that he could make this statement after talking with Paul OHalloran, his* personal representative at Golden Gate, and Francis McCarthy of San Francisco, the unions attorney. The issue involved the hiring of three men.
