Make Mine a Short Beer NEW YORK, N. Y., May 11 UP.— The clink of ice cubes in the cocktail lounge of the S. S. ,Washington, which left for .Europe yesterday, is going to prove annoying for at least 91 passengers. They are members of the Womens Christian Temperance Union going to the sixteenth tri-annual convention at Hastings, England. "What can you do?" said Mrs. Margaret C Munns, WCTU world treasurer and leader of the group. "We couldnt find any ship that doesnt sell liquor."
