SHAKO improved his position gradually on the outside, came between horses when sent to the inside in the stretch and was along to outfinish SHERRY D. The latter began slowly, worked his way up on the outside and finished stoutly. FOUR CHANCES assumed command after a quarter of a mile, was unable to draw clear and tired. INDIAN BARNEY was unable to keep up early, then rallied in the late stages. SUPER FOOT tired. HI BUNTY lacked early speed. M. L0NGEINE was unable to keep up. FOSTERS PRIDE liad no mishap. COMANCHE PEAK was outrun. ARIEL ACTRESS tired. MARION CLARKE was outrun. LONGTIDE was through early. HERES FAY alternated in establishing the pace, drew clear when roused in the stretch and had enough left to hold LADY KELZIN safe. The latter, a forward factor on the outside, rallied when placed under pressure. THIS HIGH improved position without urging, came to the outside for the drive and threatened, only to tire. GERLEON tired from forcing the pace. ISOLUC passed tiring horses. ARKMO lacked racing room early, then failed to rally under pressure. MANUELA saved ground, but was unable to reach serious contention. IRISH R. M. quit The others were outrun. LOLLING was steadied close to the leader for a half mile, moved readily when roused, assumed command under urging, drew clear and increased the margin. JET STAR assumed command at once, saved ground, was under stout restraint to the far turn, responded gamely when put to a drive, but was unable to match strides with the winner. SALERNO raced well placed and saved ground, but failed to respond to pressure. SPITEFUL SUE worked her way up on the inside, swung out on the final bend, but was unable to make up appreciable ground. FAIR STRIKE moved into the lead before a half mile, was unable to draw off and held on gamely under pressure. FLIGHT GAL rushed boldly on the outside to draw close to the pace nearing the final bend, then failed to respond with a late rally. WALLOON forced the pace and held on well most of the trip.
