Anthony Ippolito Chicago Owner Fata My Injured InjuredSPORTSMANS SPORTSMANS PARK Cicero HI May 7 Owners and trainers in the midwest sec ¬ tor were saddened to learn of the death yesterday of Anthony Ippolito who had several thoroughbreds in training at this course Ippolito was fatally injured in an altercation that he and a companion had with two unidentified men at Cedar and State Streets in Chicago He died eight hours later in Henrotin Hospital Ippolito suffered a fractured skull lacerations and other injuries His companion Michael Deguido was treated for a cut on the fore ¬ head headIppolito Ippolito who was 40 years of age is survived by his wife Leah his brothers Steve John and Charles and sisters Sarah and Ann The remains will lie at the Rago Brothers Funeral Home 624 North Western Avenue in Chicago Burial will be Satur ¬ day morning in St Joseph Cemetery CemeteryIn In addition to his thoroughbred hold ¬ ings Ippolito was owner of Tonys Lounge a popular restaurant often visited by Chi ¬ cago horsemen
