Preakness to Be Aired On Television and Radio RadioBALTIMORE BALTIMORE Md May 6 The Preakness which will run for the seventyeighth time on Saturday May 22 at Pimlico will have nationwide coverage on both television and radio it was announced today The running of Marylands prized threeyearold fixture worth 100000 added will be carried by the Columbia Broadcasting System television and radio networks Fred Caposella will do the actual call of the race Mel Allen will handle the color in connection with the event and ceremonies in the winners circle will be described by Sam Renick
