threatened by MID CENTURY The latter was close up coming to the stretch turn and also raced wide but finished with good courage OUR KITE displayed fine early speed and took a short lead after going FRABOTTA was in close quarters after going a half mile and raced steadily thereafter BRIEF BRAND was a fairly good contender for six furlongs CAROLS JOY tired after making a good bid on the BEACONS had early speed and although unable to compete successfully with the first two outfinished WOODSIDE WOODSIDE moved up strongly on the outside nearing the stretch turn but seemed to falter ki
