Dunstan Honored byCommittee Of 1953 Belmont Futurity Ball BallNEW NEW YORK N Y May 6 Nelson Dun ¬ stan DAILY RACING FORM columnist was the guest of honor last evening at a cock ¬ tail party given by the committee of the Belmont Futurity Ball of 1953 and friends at the home of Mrs William Woodward WoodwardE E H Dutch Ellis made a presentation to Dunstan in behalf of the Soldiers Sail ¬ ors and Airmens Club of the last racing plate worn by Polynesian before entering the stud A service by him brought an all time record bid of 10000 at the 1953 Bel ¬ mont Futurity Ball The racing plate was beautifully mounted on a plaque which was inscribed Presented to Mr Nelson Dun ¬ stan by the Soldiers Sailors and Airmens Club in appreciation of his tireless efforts in making the sale of stud services the ma ¬ jor contributing factor in the success of the annual Belmont Futurity Ball BallAmong Among those hi attendance were Mrs William Woodward George D Widener Mr and Mrs John W Hanes Mr and Mrs William Woodward Jr Mr and Mrs J Samuel Perlman Mr and Mrs Robert Kle berg Mrs Edward H Gerry Mrs Chester Laroche Charles Farman William Leckie Mrs Thomas Bancroft E H Ellis Leroy P Sport Ward and Mrs Donald B Tansell
