Illinois Notes FAIRMOUNT PARK Collinsville 111 May 7 7Trainer Trainer Tommy Swigert checked in with five head this morning from Chicago Swi ¬ gert raced at the Sportsmans Park meet ¬ ing with good success successA A recent check of horses shows that there are upwards of 250 head stabled at the nearby Cahokia Downs The stabk area at that newlybuilt track will accommodate close to 1000 head and is now completed Horses have been able to work over the new racing strip the past week and horse ¬ men are high in their praise of the sandy loam strip Dee Bassett Midwestern representative of the Jockeys Guild reports that at Ji meeting of the riders Wednesday morning Wally Humes Frank Keene and Charlie Burns were elected to represent the Fair mount Park riders during the current meeting
