Approve Charity Fund Plan PlanBAY BAY MEADOWS San Mateo Calif May 7 The 50000 a year to be paid by Bay Meadows annually into the local jockey clubs organization until a total of 350000 which the track loaned out of stateapproved charity funds to Portland Meadows shall have been restored to its original purpose has been cleared by the attorneygeneral for receipt by the charity organization The first 50000 payment of last fall and the second due at the close of the current meeting had been held up pending approval of the charity bodys board of directors by the attorneygeneral who had objected to the inclusion of four members of the tracks officers and stock ¬ holders Eventually the track management yielded and yesterday withdrew their names The new charity board now con ¬ sists of Mayor Elmer Robinson Police Com ¬ missioner Pat Maginn William Woodfield realtor Hart Clinton publisher of the San Mateo Times and Harold Berliner execu ¬ tive of the Hockwald Chemical Company
