Deadline for Two Golden Gate Stakes on Saturday May 15 15ALBANY ALBANY Calif May 7 Nominations to the Golden Gate Girl and the second pay ¬ ment to the Golden Gate Futurity are due Saturday May 15 general manager Charles E Coughlin of Golden Gate Fields today reminded horsemen Both races will be run during the Golden Gate Fields meeting which opens November 1 1The The Golden Gate Futurity which closed January 15 with a total of 293 nominations has an estimated gross value of 35000 It is for twoyearolds of both sexes and will be run at one mile The Golden Gate Girl was added to the Golden Gate Fields stakes roster in re ¬ sponse to numerous requests from Cali ¬ fornia breeders It also will be at one mile but will be limited to twoyearold fillies The gross value of the Golden Gate Girl is estimated at 25000
