Mission, at home in mud, closed up fast in the strdtch and won going away. Tom Collins ran to his best mark. Anna Elliott showed great early speed, but tired and was weakly ridden. Invictus went well, but wants a longer distance. The Phoenician did not seem to relish the going until he came into the stretch. He came fast thon. Macon tired. Scratched 35132 Hengist, 112. Yellowstone was off well, raced Alvin W. into submission and won drawing away. Aransas, off badly and badly ridden, ran a good race and was probably best. Alvin W. was going well, but sulked in the stretch. One More ran a fairly good race. Blueblaze, very badly ridden and taken all over the track and generally misused, ran a winning race from where he got off. Prince Real had no mishaps. Lizetta S. was given an easy race. Our Lady liked the mud, was lucky; finished fast and won drawing away. Doeskin ran a good race and finished resolutely. Velasquez showed spoed and liked the mud, but quit in the stretch. Flop ran a poor race, but dislikes such going. Tros warmed up well, but ran a dull race. Maggie Felixs race was too bad to be true, but she is best on a fast track. Scratched 34800 Van Hooreboke, 102 ; 35226 Miss Mao Day, 102. Overweights Doeskin, 2 pounds. Our Lady, show, 9 to 10. Doeskin, show, 2 to 1. Velasquez, show, 6 to 5. Flop, show, 7 to 10. Nearest, well ridden, was in the best going on the track, given a good finish and just got up in timo. If You Dare was made too much use of in the early part of the race and Walsh allowed hinrto swerve all oyer the track at the finish. Hainault ran a dull race in his own going. Aules was " well rated while Tickful and Red Apple were fighting for the lead, came strougly in tho stretch and ont-.gamed Tickful at the end. Tickful was hard ridden all the way, taken in the heaviest going and given a very weak finish. Dandy Jim bsgan slowly, lost ground around the stretch turn, but closed up fast in the run home and would about have won in another stride. Red Apple showed speed, but tired in the run home.
