Denigre ran well, was easily liest of the others and had no contention for second place. Pleiad began slowly, but. moved up fast on the far turn and finished resolutely. Autumn King ran iniorlv ami was a false alarm. Mamie Lloyd ran fairly well, but tired badly. Slihieon ran as if he outclassed Ids opDonents, caught Doe Kyle in the lirst quarter, raced him into defeat pud won going away as his rider pleased. Taunt was always a forward contender and easily disposed of Doe Kyle in the .stretch run. Doe Kyle was speedy and had no contention for third place, but tired badly from chasing the winner. The latter licgan slowly, but moved up fast after getting in his stride nun was wearing the winner down at the end. Avaunteer had no mishaps aud was outrun all the way. Fxiiteiuent found the track to Ills liking, inn close in behind the pacemaker until on the turn for home, en tight Pompadour after being straightened out, raced him into defeat and won .with plenty in reserve. Pompadour showed the most early speed, but tired in the stretch run from setting the pace. Joe Fallert was a forward contender throughout and finished gamely. Chanida ran well. Neodeslia closed a big gap. The winner was entered for SUM; no bid. Overweights Etrena, 1 pound.
