Lady Annes three-quarters of a mile in 1:118 in the Jamaica Stakes at Brighton Beach yesterday is the fastest time made at that distance this year, is--within one-fifth of a second of Uosebens American record, made when be was a four-year-old with 1 17 pounds at Belmont Park, October 0, 100.1, and is a new track record for Brighton Beach. The previous record. at this track was 1:12, held jointly by Lux Casta :., Ill, July 2::, 1002; Belle Strome 2, 109, September 1.5, 1004, Comedienne :5, 114, July 25. 1000 and Boseben , 110, July 10, 1007. There are four other tracks having 1:11 as records for three-quarters of a mile, as follows: Washington Park, Dick Welles !5, 100, .Tune.. 50, 100-5; Worth, Ivan the Terrible 2, 02, October 27, 1904; Woodbine, Diamond 4, 114, May 24, 1900 and Fort Erie, Charlie Eastman :5, 112, August 10, 1900.
