ST. JOSEPH, MARRONES BARGAIN. Joe Marrone got a bargain in St. Joseph. He i-4 a faster horse than the books realized Saturday when he was; chosen by Dally Racing Form to be i second to Grapple and Avas as good as 3 to 1 third at all times, and had no difficulty in running second at 0 to 1 for the place. . . , When Mike Daly let St. Joseph go he actually cost his present owner only S30, as Joe Marrope8 Clyde was second. Since then St. Joseph has won twice and been second tAvice, winning a total of 1,815. That Joe has no notion of letting him be claimed cheap is shown by his being entered to be sold for 1,300.
