SOME OF THE IRISH WERE THERE touch of the Emerald Isle hovered over Over hind Park yesterday It came with a spirited dis ¬ cussion lietweon two sons of Erin as to the relative racing merits of Lady St Patrick and Irish Ann They wore standing in one of the mammoth stables ami a large crowd gathered to hear the arguments which wound up in a mutual conclusion that the former horse held the advantage 1 names The jockey I wards were rained a few noments later and showed that in the races to co ne there were scheduled to ride jockeys Kelley I yan Donovan McGraw McTsiggart Nolan and the appeared the name J Murphy lies a rolorc 1 jockey from Kentucky and iys he doesnt kno v bow he got his name Finnigin Nannie MiDee Baby Lynch Irish Ann J Hennesseys Sam Connor Ed Cudihee and J McCarthys Brighouse were among the prominent racers during the afternoons events Cudihee being a long shot and Finnigin one of the speed artists which finished in the second race Denver Rocky Mountain News
