RACES AT A MILE OR OVER. Feature Society Day Program at Oriental Park — H. X. Xaapp an Arrival. Havana. Cuba. January 28. — Bene* C. R. Tolons promising three-year-old Sir WeBona accounted for todays feature race at Oriental Park, when be won the handicap dash at five and a half furlongs. Sir Wellons led his opponents from start to finish anil tan the distance in 1:88%. Todays program was framed to suit horses that fancy going a distance and four of the races a . at a mile or over. Form was well observed, a majority of th- raeea being area by favorites. Alter several disappointing races Naushon finally won. when he beat a band of fair platen in the fifth race in which he led all the way and won by half a dozen lengths. It was society day at tile course and the mui:i cipal band was in attendance. Many boxes were mi upied by members of Havanas most exclusive set. Among the new arrivals were H. K. Knanp. member of the New York Jo.key club, who is accompanied by his sou. II. K. Knapp. Jr.. and wife.
