STEEPLECHASE BODY GRANTS LICENSES XEW YORK, X. Y., September 15. At a recent meeting of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association the following licenses were granted: JockeysWilliam MeClear, W. Hunt. D. Holly and T. :Colman; trainers Fred Barry. Frank King and C. : C. Pierce. The application of Crawford S. Burton for a certificate as a gentleman rider was approved. The jockey license granted to X. Brooks was revoked and all privileges withdrawn for the remainder of the year.
