LATE ARRIVALS AT OMAHA OMAHA, Neb., April 18. — Early arrivals from Tijuana and New Orleans are now safely quartered at Ak-Sar-Ben Field. Among those reaching Omaha during the past week were: C. B. Irwin stable with nineteen head, containing Rip Rap, Conquistador, Common Gold. Bonnie Omar and other good ones : J. W. Marchbank, with May Cooper. Lord Julian and Runbank ; Mike Syufy, with his band, headed by the splendid three-year-old Proctor Hug and Shafe, and others. Kentucky John Givens arrived this morning with Aristides Stable. Bennie Creech has a part of his band here at Omaha, and others which have been racing at the winter tracks are enjoying a well earned rest at beautiful Ak-Sar-Ben Field. At the present time there are 179 head in the Ak-Sar-Ben stables biding their time to the opening of the twenty-nine day meeting June 1. John Carey, racing secretary, is on the job and suggests that no one ship to Omaha without first having reservations.
