1 LATONIA TURF NOTES - : $ Harry Saladin has arranged to ship the A. B. Gallaher stable to Hawthorne Sunday. The Gallaher, Wells and Bradley establishments are the only ones at present going to Chicago. The James C. Ellis stable will be one of the first to get away for Dade Park, for that meeting of twenty-five days, which opens Saturday, August 12. Olin Johnson intends shipping the Ellis horses Tuesday morning. R. B. Bridwell will send along the E. A. Igleheart stable at the. same time. Jockey Leslie Pichon arrived from Rockingham Park and will remain here for the Coney Island meeting. Walter Brannon has succeeded J. E. .Han- kins as the trainer of the J. J. Ashe horses and he will take this stable to Coney Island. Apprentice C. Green was suspended for the remainder of the meeting for rough riding astride Brilliant Rose in the first race Wednesday. Jockey L. "Buddy" Ensor arrived from Rockingham Park and expects to get into action during the Cone Island meeting.
