. * ? s y No Fall Meeting at Keeneland Is Anticipated at This Time LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 26.— George B. Leach, general manager of Keeneland Race Course, Inc., stated today that, unless there be a considerable change in the transportation facilities, Keeneland would not hold a fall meeting. Leach is much pleased over the success of the spring meeting, as well as the three days set aside for Red Cross and other charities. He feels very grateful to Col. Matt J. Winn and other Churchill Downs officials for the use of the Derby course for the 1943 and 1944 spring sessions, and would not care to further impose on them for the use of the course for a fall meet. Keeneland did not stage a fall meeting in 1943. It will be several days before Leach will be able to announce Keenelands donation to the Red Cross, Grayson Foundation, the University of Kentucky and other chari- ties. ____
