GADOLA* took command quickly, cut to the inside approaching the turn, bore out slightly on the stretch turn sprinted into a good lead when straightened in the stretch and won with something left. ADVANCE ROLL* fractious at the post and away poorly, bore in through the stretch and showed a good effort. JINGLE JANGLE had speed from the start, saved ground but tired in the closing stages. GOBLIN bore in much of the tace and was held safe FAIR DREAMER bore out badly on the turn and had no chance thereafter. THIRD RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. SPARE THE ROD, well up from the start, "came out in the stretch and moved up in the last eighth but faltered near the end. SUN BY, punished eaily and again soon after reaching the stretch, was racing well when forced to ease as he started up between COURT FLASH and SPARE THE ROD then came again and with better luck night have finished closer up. BOAT MAN offered strong contention from the start, disposed of MISS MARIANNA gradually, went to the inside when clear and came away fast in the last sixteenth. MISS MARIANNA had speed, saved ground and stubbornly engaged the winner to the final eighth, where she tired. TEDDY JUNIOR made up ground through the stretch and was racing well at the end. ONEMORE. in hand to tie final turn, bettered his position gradually, wrested the lead from MIGHTY ARAB soon after reaching the stretch then tired but held SWEENACK safe. The latter started up on the stretch turn, made a bid under pie-sure but hung near the end. MIGHTY ARAB took command under MTging, readily gave way to the winner and also succumbed to SWEEPNACK. EXPOSE raced well from a slow Mart. GRAIN DEALER bore out badly on the final turn. WHISTLING EB showed eajly speed. Overweight — Grain Dealer, 2 pounds. Claimed— Sweepnack by D. Pierce.
