Unconquered, Juvenile Colt, Sells for 0,000 at Belmont BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., June 15. — Ramon de Legorboru, a newcomer to American racing from Venezuela, paid the top price at the paddock sale of thoroughbreds at Belmont Park this morning when he acquired Unconquered, a chestnut juvenile colt by Mahmoud from Fortify, by Case Ace, for 0,000. De Legorboru plans to bring the best of his racing stable up from Central America in the near future and campaign on the New York tracks. Unconquered was consigned by the estate of Samuel D. Riddle, which offered five horses, who averaged 3,620. The second high price of the vendue was the 8,000 Tom Waller, acting as an agent, paid for Royal Admiral, a juvenile son of War Admiral — Even Tan, by Equipoise, who was also consigned by the Riddle estate. Stanley Mikell, owner of Repetpire, paid 3,500 for Brush Burn, a son of Bern-borough— My Brush, by Menow. The highest price paid for the offerings of other consignors was the ,300 brought by Foxcatcher Farms Rose Beam, who was led away by V. H Shea.
