MAY RACE AT TANF0RAN IN 1907. San Francisco, Cal., January 9. It is not unlikely that there may be thirty days racing at Tanforan at the end of the season of 1907. Everything depends on the construction of the Southern Pacific bay shore road. It is expected to have this road ready in another year. Railroad magnates have assured President Thomas H. Williams tliat they will transport the people from this city to Tanforan iu twenty-six minutes. As there is to be a double track, there will be, no delay iu handling the crowd. It is doubtful If the California Jockey Club will ever reopen Iugleslde unless the unexpected happens.
