New Orleans, La., January 0. The City Park receivership ease was dismissed today in the United Slates Circuit Court on the motion of II. 1. Brown, who brought the proceedings. In Browns deposition he claimed that the action of the New Orleans Jockey Club in leasing the track to the newly formed City Park Club made his holdings valueless. President Heaslip claimed in his deposition that he stood ready at any time to pay par value for Browns stock and this knocked out Browns argument that the clubs action in leasing the plant to another company was a hardship on the other stockholders. Jimmy McCormick, in whose colors Grenade scored a handy victory yesterday, took the feature race at City Park today with Monet. Willie Shields will offer at auction on Saturday next the horses Evie Greene, Keidinoore, Shunpike and ten two-year-olds.
