TORONTO DATES ARE NAMED BY STEWARDS. Thirteen Days in Spring and Seven Days in Fall-Durham Cup New Stake. Toronto, Out., January 12. At a meeting of the directors of the Ontario Jockey Club held today, dates were alloted as follows: Spring meeting, 13 days, May 19, to June 2. Autumn meeting, 7 days, September 22, to September 25. Stakes closing March 1, which are for horses fouled in Canada, also occupied the attention of the Iward. It was resolved to add ,000 to the Kings Plate. The Earl of Durham, for several years a steward of the Jockey Club, through His Excellency, the Governor-General, has given a challenge cup to be known as the Durham Cup, for horses fouled in Canada and to be run for at the autumn meeting over a distance not less than one mile and a half.
