Durbar showed a smart flight of speed and appeared the winner, but tired when hard driven. Embarrassment went well throughout. Ethylene showed speed, but tired! in the going. Rubiana quickly ran into the lead and, standing off all challenges gamely, won all the way. Chickadee was always a contender and outstayed Red Damsel for second place. Red Damsel pursued the winner closely to the stretch, but tired in the final furlong. Exapo was favored by the going and ran iu improved form. Manser ran lairlv well.
