Miss Ferris began slowly and went wide on all turns, but finished fast and outgained First Premium. The latter forced the early running, raced Catherine R. into defeat and stood a hard drive well. Odd Ella was sluggish early, but came fast in the last quarter. Beechwood tired when he got into the deep going through the stretch. Pamela did not seem able to move freely in the stiff going and ran a bad race. Lord Kent and Catherine R. showed early speed, but tired in the stretch. Daniel C. finished well. Gray. Went to post at 2:28. At post 4 minutes. Start poor. Won easily; second driving. Pity broke well in motion, showed a high order of speed and won pulling up. Besterllng saved much ground whencoming into the stretch and stood a hard drive well. Mordella was always close up and ran a fairly good race. White Marsh ran well to the stretch, but tired slightly near the finish. Uncle Henry went wide for the entire trip, ran a good race and will -probably Improve. Lady Henrietta showed speed, but tired unexpectedly in the last quarter. Arch Oldham ran a poor race. The Cure went well, as also did Charles McKee. Harry Scott is worth "rememberin" ran well and tired as if short. Third Alarm showed speed, but tired. Delmore had scant chance with his poor rider. Lubeck unseated his rider in a false break, ran away three miles and the others were dis-patched "ls without him.
