- EDWARD CORRIGAN VISITS CHICAGO. Edward Corrigan came to Chicago yesterday morning from his farm in Kentucky, spent the day looking over his young horses at Hawthorne and left last night in company with Secretary McAllister of e American Turf Association for New Orleans to be present at the meeting of the directors of that organization in the St. Charles hotel tomorrow. .Mr. Corrigan had nothing to add to what has already been published in Daily Racing, Form with reference to the probabilities of this meeting of the governing body. He. expressed himself as satistled with the conclusion of the litigation instituted by II. 1. Brown against the New Orleans Jockey .Club; said that meeting at City Park is being better patronized than was really expected at the beginning of the season and that It has been demonstrated beyond a question that the local people have a decided preference for the racing at the new track.
