BENNINGS SPRING DATES ARE CHOSEN. New York, January 20. The Jockey Club has made no anounceinent of a schedule of racing dates for tills year and there has leen no Intimation that the matter has been officially considered, yet on Its stake blanks the Washington Jockey Club announces that the spring meeting at Bennings will open March 20 and continue until April 14. While it is generally understood that the Washington Jockey Club can have its choice of any dates prior to April ir, the announcement prior to action by the Jockey Club has been commented upon among horsemen as a bit unusual. ,
