Salvisa broke from an outside position, showed .line speed and came away wlth a rush In the last furlong. Jardiniere showed improved form and seed for the first quarter, but tired thereafter. Helen Lucas, away well, forced" the pace to the last furlong, where she flinched under punishment. Sainzella had no mishaps. Duchess of Monteliello put up a good performance. Black Enamel; away in a tangle, ran green, but closed a big gap and should improve through this running. Blacklock aud Firalto finished gamely. Scratched 50S38 Dorothy M., 105. The latter went badly and had no mishaps. Lena J. suffered from crowding.
