0RLY WINS HIS SIXTH RACE AT CITY PARK. Civills Horse Runs in Fast Time Fine Weather, Good Crowd and Lively Betting. New Orleans, La., January 20. Fine weather, fast track, big crowti, lively betting, good sport and about an even break between the public and the liookinakers was the order of things at City Park this afternoon. The feature of the card went to Pat Civilis Orly, making the sixth victory for this horse at the meeting. Today he carried 120 pounds over the mile and seventy yards route in 1:45. Every tiling considered, it was fast time. Ohio Kings victory in the steeplechase today made him ineligible for the hurdle race tomorrow and tonight he was stricken from the entries. Wilson Chamberlain lias turned over to S. M. Halmau several two-year-olds by the fast sprinter Merry Day. Rome Respess made a trade this morning. He swapped the three-year-old colt Woodlawn for the mare Poseur. Respess will breed Poseur to Dick Welles. A. N. Elrod, who has had charge of the betting ring at City Park, acting as manager for the association, was relieved today by Bruno Mitchell, of Chicago.
